Apple Cinnamon Oat Creme Brulee
- 2 1/2 cups almond milk
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple sauce
- 1 fuji apple (chopped)
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp dry sweetener (coconut or date sugar)
- Preheat oven or broiler at 350 degrees
- In a saucepan bring the almond milk to boil (medium heat)
- Add the oats and let them cook for about 5 minutes
- Keep stirring until they become creamy (not dry)
- In another small sauce pan, add the chopped apple, water, apple sauce, cinnamon and maple syrup
- Let them cook in a low heat for about 8 minutes.
- When everything is ready add the oatmeal in a bake dish, sprinkle with the coconut sugar
- Put into broiler for 2 or 3 minutes.
- Remove from broiler
- Top with caramelized apples
• You can put it again into the broiler for 1 minute, for more crispiness or just eat it like that.
