Apple Cinnamon Oat Creme Brulee

  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp apple sauce
  • 1 fuji apple (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp dry sweetener (coconut or date sugar)
  1. Preheat oven or broiler at 350 degrees
  2. In a saucepan bring the almond milk to boil (medium heat)
  3. Add the oats and let them cook for about 5 minutes
  4. Keep stirring until they become creamy (not dry)
  5. In another small sauce pan, add the chopped apple, water, apple sauce, cinnamon and maple syrup
  6. Let them cook in a low heat for about 8 minutes.
  7. When everything is ready add the oatmeal in a bake dish, sprinkle with the coconut sugar
  8. Put into broiler for 2 or 3 minutes.
  9. Remove from broiler
  10. Top with caramelized apples

• You can put it again into the broiler for 1 minute, for more crispiness or just eat it like that.
