Blueberry Creme Brulee Oatmeal

Blueberry Oatmeal with a Creme Brulee flair

  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt (sea or pink)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp coconut or date sugar
  • 1 pinch roasted coconut chips (for garnish)
  1. Preheat oven or broiler at 350 degrees
  2. In a saucepan bring the almond milk to boil, in medium heat
  3. Add the oats, salt, maple syrup and blueberries, and let them cook for about 12 minutes
  4. Keep stirring until creamy, but not dry
  5. When everything is ready add the oatmeal in a baking dish and sprinkle with the coconut sugar
  6. Place in broiler for 2 or 3 minutes until golden brown
  7. Top with fresh fruit of your liking
